    Depois do show fantástico que a banda Adorned Brood fez no Brasil, o Rock On Stage conseguiu essa entrevista exclusiva com o baterista Mischa Kliege na qual ele nos falou sobre o show no Brasil, os dias que antecederam essa apresentação, o novo álbum Kuningaz ( leia resenha ) e a expectativa da banda em voltar a tocar no Brasil em 2013.

    As fotos que ilustram a entrevista são da apresentação da banda no ThorHammFest VI realizado no Manifesto Rock Bar no dia 3 de dezembro de 2012 ( saiba aqui como foi ), aliás, um dos primeiros shows da turnê do novo álbum, o Kuningaz.

Rock On Stage: Ola Mischa, Obrigado pela oportunidade desta pequena entrevista, e primeiro de tudo, obrigado pelo excelente show em São Paulo. A primeira pergunta é como vocês viram o show e o que lembram daquela noite? Essa foi a primeira turnê da banda aqui no Brasil?
Mischa Kliege: O concerto foi ótimo, estourou nossas mentes. O local era ótimo e o serviço foi insano. O público foi um dos mais entusiasmados para qual nós já tocamos. E sim, foi nosso primeiro show no Brasil.

Rock On Stage:  Eu conversei com vocês um pouco antes do show e vocês ficaram alguns dias numa praia aqui em São Paulo/SP ( mais precisamente São Sebastião ). Como foram esses dias antes do show?
Mischa Kliege: Insanos ;-) . Nós tivemos dias relaxantes numa casa de praia com boas comidas e experimentando cervejas brasileiras. Foi a primeira vez que celebramos uma turnê na praia. Na Alemanha é muito frio em dezembro.

Rock On Stage: Sobre o novo lançamento o excelente cd Kuningaz, por favor responda a nossos leitores o que significa Kuningaz? E outra coisa importante, como foram as sessões de gravação para este cd? Para mim foi o melhor lançamento em cd de 2012.
Mischa Kliege: Obrigado pelas palavras! Kuningaz é uma velha palavra germânica e significa Rei. A faixa fala sobre Hermann, The Cherusker, que defendeu os romanos na Batalha da Floresta Teutoburg.

    Foi uma longa e exaustiva produção, mas também com muita diversão durante as gravações. Eu espero que vocês possam ver os trailers de estúdio em nosso canal no Youtube. Nós fizemos a pré-produção de cada faixa no nosso próprio estúdio. Isso ajudou a melhorar os riffs e melodias e tivemos assim, tempo suficiente para experimentar com efeitos e sons.

    Depois das gravações finais no estúdio Kohlekeller, nós tínhamos que manusear e mixar toda parte acústica e muitos dos vocais para uma “normal metal production”. A "Intro" por exemplo fizemos umas 60 vezes.

Rock On Stage:  Kuningaz é o primeiro lançamento pela Massacre Records, bem como está esse relacionamento, e o produtor Kai Stahlenberg, o que ele adicionou ao álbum?
Mischa Kliege: Eu acho que foi uma boa escolha essa parceria com a Massacre Records. Nós tivemos muito suporte e eles fizeram um grande trabalho promovendo o álbum Kuningaz. Na verdade não é a primeira vez, nós já trabalhamos com Kai Stahlenberg. Nós também gravamos nosso último álbum Hammerfeste com ele e fez um trabalho melhor agora com Kuningaz.

Rock On Stage: Na nossa pequena conversa em São Paulo vocês comentaram que voltariam no próximo ano.  A turnê está confirmada ou vocês ainda estão trabalhando nisso?
Mischa Kliege: Até o momento não tem turnê confirmada, mas nos esperamos que tenhamos mais oportunidade de fazerem shows no Brasil no futuro.

    After the amazing concert that Adorned Brood made in december here in Brazil, our site Rock On Stage got this interview with Adorned Brood drummer Mischa Kliege that he talked about the concert here in Brazil, some days before the concert in a beach, the new release Kuningaz and if they will come back to Brazil in 2013.

    The pictures that we insert here are from concert in december 3, 2012 in São Paulo at Manifesto Rock Bar. This concert in ThorHammermmfest VI probally is the first concert for Kuningaz Tour.

 

Rock On Stage: Thanks for give the oportunity to do this litle interview. First of All, thanks again for amazing concert here in São Paulo.  The first questtion is about How do you see the concert and remember about that night? It is your first tour with the Adorned Brood?
Mischa Kliege: The concert was awesome and it blew our minds. The location was great and the service was amazing. The crowd was one of the most enthusiastic audiences we ever played for. And yes, it was our first show in Brazil.

Rock On Stage: I talked to you a little before the concert, and you stay a couple of days in Beach here in São Paulo. How was this days before the concert?
Mischa Kliege: Awesome ;-) . We had some wonderful relaxed days at a beach house with good food and tasty Brazilian beer. It was the first time we "celebrated" the 1st Advent at the beach. In Germany it is very cold in December.

Rock On Stage:  About new release, the excelent cd Kuningaz, please answer for our readears what means "Kuningaz"? And important how was the recording sessions for this cd? For me is the best new cd release that I heard in this year.
Mischa Kliege: Thanks for the nice words!  Kuningaz is an old Germanic word and means "King". The titletrack is about Hermann the Cherusker, who defeated the Romans in the Battle of the Teutoburg Forest.

    It was a very long and exhausting production, but we also had a lot of fun while doing the recordings. I hope this can be seen on the studio trailers we posted on Youtube.

    We did a pre-production of every song on our own before entering the studio. This helped a lot in improving the riffs and melodies and we had enough time to experiment with effects and sounds. After the final recording of the tracks at Kohlekeller Studio, we had to handle and mix all the acoustic instruments and a lot of vocal tracks on top of the “normal metal production”. In the intro for example there were even 60 tracks!

Rock On Stage: Kuningaz is the first release with Massacre Records, How was this relationship, and the producer Kai Stahlenberg, what he add in new release?
Mischa Kliege: I think it was a good choice to start the collaboration with Massacre Records. We got a lot of support and they did a great job, promoting Kuningaz.

Mischa Kliege: Actually, this is not the first time, we work together with Kai Stahlenberg. We also recorded our last album Hammerfeste with him and he did an even better job on Kuningaz.

Rock On Stage -   In litle talk that we met in São Paulo we said maybe we comeback to Brazil next year, if the world not end in the next feew days. The tour is confirmed or you will work on it?
 Mischa Kliege: At the moment there is no tour confirmed, but we hope to have the opportunity to play some more shows in Brazil in the future.
